Note: If using a navigational device it may direct you along unpaved roads over the Strzelecki Range.

From Melbourne: Follow the South Gippsland Highway to the township of Leongatha. After passing McDonalds on your right you will come to a T intersection. Turn left.

From Foster: Follow the South Gippsland Highway and travel through the township of Leongatha to the round-about. Turn right.

Then – cross over the rail line and follow the Strzelecki Highway towards Mirboo North. You will pass the large Murray Goulburn/Devondale plant on your left. Travel along a straight section of road and then you will wind up a hill. At the top of the hill, 5km from Leongatha, turn left onto the Yarragon Road. Travel along this road for 1km then turn left onto Canavans Road. Carrelly is located 5.75km along this road at the end of the bitumen paving.
